I suspect everyone’s noticed the signage, the village is due to be closed off to the outside world next week. Tuesday 5th to Thursday 7th between the hours of 9:30 and 4pm.
Ringway will be ripping up the tarmac and laying new from no 35 to ~50m past the 40mph sign on the way out towards Cheshunt. Details are slim on the hertfordshire.roadworks.org site but below is a link to the letter to residents explaining in part what's going on:
